Welcome

Welcome to the Better Soils website, an initiative of the Agricultural Bureau of South Australia.

 

Launched in 1997, the Better Soils Project was a skills development and learning program with the objective of improving farmers' knowledge and adoption of good soil management practices.

 

In 2002 it was decided to publish the project's written material as a website accessible to all.

 

The site's content is organised into related units of soil and land care called modules and smaller, quick-to-digest fact sheets.
